Or a clarinet in a closet, or a guitar behind the sofa. Selling it is a hassle, throwing it out feels wrong, and so it sits there. Give it to us instead — we collect, we cover the moving, and we put it in front of a student who will use it.

It is too heavy or awkward for us to carry out — it will need proper movers.

A few honest notes

We take instruments that need work. A sticking key or a set of pads is a repair, not a reason to say no. We work with a technician.
We will tell you if we cannot use it. Water damage and cracked soundboards are usually past saving, and we would rather say so than take it and quietly scrap it.
We do not accept money, and we cannot give you a tax receipt — we are a student project, not a registered charity. What you get is knowing where it went.
